Holly is doing really well. We have been playing with her a ton and she is the cutest thing in the world. Please tell everyone how much we adore her and will take really great care of her.
We will give up dates from time to time. Thank you again for a terrific new addition to our family.
This email is long overdue! I’ve been meaning to write to update you on Piper (aka Gibson). He is such a good puppy….almost unbelievable he seems so perfect. From the first day he came home with us and was mobbed by the neighborhood kids at the bus stop, he was just so calm and relaxed. And each visit to the vet, we get comments from strangers as well as the vet staff on how calm and mellow he is!
He went to bed the first night with less than 2 minutes of whining and has slept through the night every night. (Many people had been telling me I would be up numerous times a night for potting and to expect a lot of whining through the night.)
He is so great with the kids and we’ve trained him to ring the bell when it’s time to go potty. He absolutely loves to play in the snow so he has brought joy to the fresh snowfall we have been repeatedly getting this spring!
I took him in to the vet this morning for some boosters and he is now 25 lbs. A big boy! I’m anxious to see how big he will be when done growing! His ears and tail are getting curly. I will forward a picture of him I took tonight. We love him so much and want to thank you and the kids for doing such a great job raising the puppies.
I just wanted to follow up and let you know how Cali (formerly known as Amber) was doing. I don’t know if my husband ever filled you in but I just wanted to let you know how much we absolutely feel BLESSED with this dog. She is the best dog EVER! We receive so many compliments on her from everyone we know on her demeanor and just her good nature. We could not have asked for a better companion for our 4 children! She is truly a member of the family and was from the day we brought her home. We frequently look at your puppies and would love to get another but no one could match Cali!
Thank you breeding a wonderful pet. I am sure your children have a lot to do with it!
I am attaching some photos of Cali so you can see how she is enjoying her new home in Minnesota!
I wanted to send you a picture of Finn and give you an update. We love him so much and life has calmed down (sometimes) now that he’s almost 6 months old. We just finished Session II of puppy training and will start the Intermediate level in Jan. He learns very quickly but is definitely one of the most rambunctious ones in class! He has a stubborn streak a mile long and even though he knows how to “Come,” he definitely chooses when to do it. We always have treats nearby!
He weighed 20 lbs. at the vet last week. I think he’ll be a lot bigger than we expected, but at this point, it doesn’t matter. Can I ask how much Miss Mable weighs? Many have said the parents can be indicators of how big they’ll end up being. Have you heard from others in this litter? We’re just curious if Finn is the same as his sister and brothers.
Finn has added so much love and laughter to our lives. We’re so grateful we found you!
